Dr. Muhammad Ovais is the visionary founder behind Raj Surgident, a company built on the principles of precision, integrity, and innovation in surgical and dental instrument manufacturing. His journey from a dedicated academic to a Med-Tech industry leader reflects a deep-rooted commitment to advancing healthcare through quality instrumentation.
Dr. Ovais holds a PhD from the renowned Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he developed a strong foundation in biomedical research and cutting-edge medical technologies. Twice recognized among the Top 2% of Scientists globally by Stanford University and Elsevier, his academic and scientific contributions have earned him international recognition. Following his doctoral studies, Dr. Ovais transitioned into the dynamic world of medical devices in Shenzhen, China—home to one of the world's most innovative Med-Tech ecosystems. Over the years, he held senior roles in global biomedical companies, including Director of Business Development, where he gained extensive experience in both manufacturing and international trade of medical technologies.

Through these experiences, he recognized a recurring challenge: many manufacturers—particularly in South Asia—were unable to fully capitalize on their global potential due to gaps in quality, branding, and reliable distribution. This realization became the driving force behind Raj Surgident. Returning to Pakistan, Dr. Ovais established Raj Surgident in the industrial hub of Sialkot, a city known for its legacy in surgical manufacturing. His mission was to create a world-class manufacturing company that upholds the highest international standards while empowering local craftsmanship. Under his leadership, Raj Surgident has grown into a trusted supplier of surgical, dental, and veterinary instruments—respected for its focus on quality, innovation, and customer-centric service.
